How do I create a ticket in M4S?

When creating a ticket, we ask you to provide the serial number, the SPB number, and the name of the institution.

An institution is another term for a school and is registered at the campus level.

We request this information to ensure everything is recorded correctly and to properly schedule a repair at the school.

The serial number and SPB number can be found on the device or in the accompanying documentation.

Unable to locate this information? The device has a sticker displaying the SPB number. Enter this number in the “Label” field.

The serial number is listed next to the designation “S/N”.

How can you find the serial number of your device?

On the device itself

• The serial number is usually located on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop or underneath the battery.

Through the operating system (Windows)

• Open the Command Prompt (press the Windows key + R and type cmd).
• Then enter the following command: wmic bios get serialnumber.
• The serial number will then be displayed.
